A useful first message names the occupancy, the transported and occupied sizes, the project jurisdiction, the quantity, and the destination. Record module dimensions in feet, for example a 20 ft by 8 ft room footprint when that matches your draft plan, and replace those figures with the real plan. Add design live load in psf, wind speed in mph, and ground snow load in psf once the authority has set them. Those facts stop a shell price from being lined up against a delivered or installed building.

A brand query does not state whether the building is a site office, a lodging block, a storage shell, or a classroom. Write the use, a service life such as 10 years or 25 years, and whether the unit must stay relocatable. If the route limits height, record the transport envelope, including the permitted overall height, width and length, and ask who prepares the lifting and unloading plan for the actual proposed component weights and site conditions.
A low unit price often covers the primary frame and envelope only. Freight, a crane lift plan, the foundation interface, stairs, and utility rough-in can sit with the buyer. Ask each supplier to mark every line as included, excluded, or optional before the totals are compared.
A homepage badge is not evidence for the module on your order. Request drawings, material notes, and any test report for the exact system, plant, and project jurisdiction. If the occupancy needs a 1-hour fire-resistance rating or a stated thermal transmittance, those belong on the submittal for that wall. IBC, IRC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, and AWS D1.1 are items to ask about, not claims this desk holds.
